I can’t remember what prompted her to say it the first time. It was early in our relationship.
Being human is hard
Perhaps it was during a conversation over drinks when I shared concerns about my nephew’s occasional challenges in social or familial situations.
Maybe it had to do with another family member or a friend or coworker or something reported in the news that day.
The first time I remember her saying though, I knew she was the one for me.
The sentiment reflects so much of what I love about her and the reason why I asked her to marry me this past February.
