You know Scott, i went a year without my iPhone or iPod and my podcasting listening fell off the map. I feel so disappointed in myself for not keeping up. Now though I have a crap load of listening to do, which is a good problem to have. I'll have to find the Garofalo interview now. Right now I'm listening to the Moth, This American Life, and Radiolab. Any other suggestions I might be into?

Three cheres for Three cheres for Craig Ferguson!! I've watched several Dave Barry interviews, and I love his humor and have developed several major religions around his books, but I think he gets really nervous and really defensive during interviews (just a thought. Or maybe he really is kind of an in real life), and I'm so impressed with how well Craig Ferguson sort of handled things. Huzzah!

Hi Tamara!Great recipe Wanted to share aetnhor yummy & nutritious ingredient for the shake: silken tofu! There's a shake recipe with that as main protein source in one of the South Beach Diet books. It's with almond meal and soy milk, but one can obviously make different choices. I find rice milk WITH almond paste the best tasting, also for making oat porridge.Keep up the great information & take care <3Joanna

Hello Patricia,Generally, I would always try and use ogrnaic or at least locally grown and in season when consuming fruits and vegetables in their raw state. However, some research suggests that most of the pesticides are to be found in the fibrous content of the fruit and vegetable, which is normally discarded once the juice has been extracted. This would therefore eliminate the amount you would consume. However, you can also try peeling and also washing your produce in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water and then rinsing in a solution of water and vinegar. If you can find ogrnaic and it is within your budget, then go for that option. If not, try and choose produce that has the least concentration of pesticide e.g. those that have a protective skin or something that can be peeled.I appreciate your comment and I hope this helps.Tamara
